Our Branch Out Dance & Movement Program is designed specifically to be accessible to children of all abilities.
Participants learn choreography and perform at recitals & community events. The class is taught by an Occupational Therapist and a Special Education Teacher. Children work on motor skills and social skills while they are dancing & having fun!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHO TEACHES THE CLASS?
Our Dance Class is taught by TWO instructors.
One instructor is a Special Education Teacher and Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Instructor. The other instructor is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Rhythm Works Dance Instructor.
Both instructors are trained and experienced in special education.
HOW BIG IS THE DANCE CLASS?
We keep our class small to ensure individualized attention. We typically cap our classes at around 6-8 children
WHEN DO YOUR CLASSES RUN?
We have 3 dance terms per year.
Each term is 5 weeks long and includes a recital performance at the conclusion of the program.
WHERE IS THE CLASS LOCATED?
Our class is located at "To the Stage" 2826 Brower Ave, Oceanside NY.
DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN WITHOUT A DIAGNOSIS TO JOIN THE PROGRAM?
Absolutely! Our program is designed for children of ALL abilities. This includes children with and without a diagnosis or disability.
WHAT AGES ARE ALLOWED TO JOIN?
We serve a wide age range of dancers. We will accept anyone over age 5. The class make up typically ranges from age 7 to about age 16.
